The DUALIS system offers all types of ticketing in one device. This migration concept is part of the entire DUALIS
ticketing family.
The DUALIS mobile sells and checks paper tickets and optionally also electronic tickets on contactless
chip cards. The device was specially developed for public transport use. The device features an extremely robust
but at the same time also very ergonomic design. It fits easily into the palm of a hand, has a maximum weight
of 680 g with batteries fitted and can be operated with one hand. The device supports all usual sales and control
processes and displays all relevant information. Where chip cards are used, residual credit or any blocking can
be displayed. The optional barcode scanner can also detect forged paper tickets.
The device comes with a transflective TFT Color LCD even visible in bright sunlight. The device can be operated
using the touch screen or backlit keys. The thermal line dot printer is integrated in the DUALIS mobile and can
print on 80 mm or 58 mm wide printer. Data communication between the sales terminal and background processing
system e.g. the DUALIS CMS is via W-LAN, GPRS or Bluetooth. The DUALIS mobile also comes with two card slots
for SD Memory Cards and PC Cards Type I/II. |
