| -Press Release Contract Cottbusverkehr- The first Eco-Line TVM within the Berlin-Brandenburg transport association – Cottbusverkehr ordered new TVM at ICA In 2012 Cottbusverkehr GmbH renews all of their stationary ticket vending machines. Their choice was the DUALIS 2000 IS EcoLine including the advanced DUALIS Cemas management system. During the European wide RFP process ICA’s solution was considered against a list of other notable manufactures of TVM’s. Based on the reduced power consumption the DUALIS 2000 IS EcoLines running cost are substantially lower as the cost of its predecessor. Power savings up to 50% are possible with the DUALIS 2000 IS EcoLine. The selection of high quality newly developed components and a newly developed intelligent power management enables these savings. One side effect which is not to underestimate is the environmental aspect of reduced power consumption. ICA EcoLine ticket vending machines were also select in the combined “spurwerk.nrw” RFP from Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Essen and Dortmund in 2011. One focus in the design of the new Cottbus TVM is its handicapped accessibility. The front panel includes a tactile guide with Braille inlets. All TVM feature a note recycler, cashless payment options and are prepared for electronic ticketing solutions. Cottbusverkehr will receive a state of the art solution for TVM technology. |
